The Vickers K machine gun, also known as the Vickers Gas Operated (G.O.) or Vickers Class K, was a British machine gun that was used during World War II. It was a lighter and more portable version of the Vickers machine gun, designed for use by infantry and airborne troops.

The Vickers K used the same .303 inch ammunition as the Vickers, but had a higher rate of fire of up to 1,200 rounds per minute. The gun had a distinctive top-mounted curved magazine that held up to 96 rounds. Despite its reliable performance, the Vickers K was eventually replaced by the Bren and Sten guns in British service.
